It's possible that Gervonta Davis (30-0, 28 KOs) will once again join forces with David Benavides (29-0, 24 KOs) and they will fight on a joint card on January 25.

"The Tank" from Baltimore has made no secret of his sympathy for Benavides of late, praising him for a good performance in his fight against Oleksandr Gvozdyk (20-2, 16 KOs). Facing an opponent as mid-range at best as Lamont Roach (25-1-1, 10 KOs), Davis will have a hard time selling a large number of pay-per-view broadcasts. That may be easier with the aforementioned David Benavidez coming to the rescue, who will have to cross gloves with David Morrell (11-0, 9 KOs).

There are also rumors that Alberto Puello (23-0, 10 KOs) will defend the interim WBC super flyweight belt that night, and his opponent will be Sandor Martin (42-3, 15 KOs). A rematch between Steven Fulton (22-1, 8 KOs) and Brandon Figueroa (25-1-1, 19 KOs) is also possible, and Jermall Charlo (33-0, 22 KOs) could have his next fight.
