Mike Tyson Fires Back at Ex-Champ's 'Concern' Over Paul Bout: "I'm Not Your Responsibility"

Mike Tyson isn't happy about Deontay Wilder's worries over his upcoming fight with Jake Paul. The boxing legend brushed off concerns about his health and age, making it clear he'll do what he wants.

The fight's set for November 15 at AT&T; Stadium in Arlington, Texas. It was supposed to happen in July, but Tyson had to push it back because of an ulcer flare-up. Now, at 58 years old, he's ready to step into the ring with the 27-year-old Paul.

Wilder, who used to hold the WBC heavyweight title, said he doesn't think the fight should even be allowed. He's worried about Tyson's health, given the big age gap between the fighters.

But Tyson isn't having any of it. In an interview with Esquire, he fired back at Wilder:

"Then let Mike get hurt. You don't have to worry about paying my bills."

Tyson didn't stop there. He took a shot at Paul's fame, saying:

"Everyone says this makes no sense, but he's how old? He's not who I am. He can't go to Mongolia and have somebody know who the f*** he is."

This isn't the first time Tyson and Wilder have butted heads. Wilder once claimed he could've beaten Tyson in his prime, which didn't sit well with the former champ.

Even with all the talk, the fight's still on. It'll be the first boxing match to stream live on Netflix, which is a big deal for the sport.

Some people think the fight won't happen. One of Paul's old rivals says it'll get cancelled soon. But for now, Tyson seems dead set on proving everyone wrong.
