Former Anthony Joshua Trainer Reveals AJ's Secret Weapon Against Tyson Fury: "He's Unstoppable When..."

Robert Garcia thinks Anthony Joshua would knock out Tyson Fury if they fought. The former trainer of Joshua shared his bold prediction in a recent interview.

Garcia, a decorated boxing coach, has worked with many world champions like Mikey Garcia, Nonito Donaire, Brandon Ríos, and Marcos Maidana. He currently trains Jesse 'Bam' Rodriguez. Garcia's connection with Joshua began after AJ's first loss to Oleksandr Usyk in 2021. He trained Joshua for the Usyk rematch in 2022, but they parted ways after Joshua's second loss to the Ukrainian.

In an interview with ESNEWS, Garcia didn't mince words about a potential Joshua-Fury clash:

"I think Joshua knocks him out."

Joshua's career has seen significant changes since his first loss to Usyk. After separating from Garcia, he linked up with Derrick James for a couple of fights. Now, he's hired Ben Davison, Fury's former coach, who oversaw AJ's stoppage wins over Otto Wallin and Francis Ngannou. Davison is currently guiding Joshua's camp as he prepares for his next fight.

Joshua will face Daniel Dubois on September 21 for an IBF world title shot. If he wins, and if Fury wins his rematch against Usyk (who beat Fury in their first undisputed title fight in May), we could see Joshua and Fury square off next year.

Riyadh Season's Turki Alalshikh wants to make the AJ-Fury fight happen regardless of Fury's result against Usyk. This all-British heavyweight clash would surely be a massive event, and Garcia's prediction adds more fuel to the fire.
