Antonio Tarver Picks Clear Winner for Crawford-Ennis Showdown: "No Question About It"

None

Terence Crawford and Jaron 'Boots' Ennis might fight soon. Fans want to see it happen, but it couldn't work out at welterweight.

Crawford, who's 36 and from Omaha, beat Errol Spence Jr. to become the undisputed welterweight champ. After that big win, he moved up to super-welterweight and won a belt there. He doesn't plan on going back down in weight.

While Crawford was ruling the welterweight division, Ennis was building up his record. When Crawford left, Ennis grabbed one of the four titles that became available. Now, Ennis says he'll move up in weight if that's what it takes to fight Crawford.

Crawford's win over Spence was really impressive. You can watch the highlights here to see just how convincing it was.

Antonio Tarver, who used to be light-heavyweight champ, thinks Crawford will win if the fight happens. He told FightHype:

"See I'm a Crawford guy. I'm gonna always run with Crawford cause I saw him a long time ago, my mind was made up a long time ago. He's done nothing but solidify everything that I thought he could be. So until someone beat Crawford I'm gonna run with him, and I don't mind losing when I'm going with my guy, you feel me? I don't think he'll lost but I'm gonna roll with him regardless. I'd rather be wrong than turn my back on a fighter I fell in love with a long time ago."

Some people think Crawford might retire if he can't get a fight with Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, the unified super-middleweight champion. That's the fight Crawford really wants next.
