Tim Bradley Reveals Surprising Pick for Boxing's Biggest Fight: "It's Not Who You Think"

None

Tim Bradley thinks a fight between Terence Crawford and Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez would be the biggest in boxing right now. The former world champion shared his view despite other big matches on the horizon.

Bradley made his case in an interview with Title Sports Network. He didn't mince words about the potential showdown.

"Crawford Canelo. Crawford Canelo is the biggest fight. It's one of the biggest if not the biggest fight in boxing."

Bradley believes money will smooth over any obstacles standing in the way of making the fight happen. He also challenged Canelo's claim that facing Crawford would be "easy money."

"If Canelo's talking about easy money, put your money where your mouth is. You beat Crawford, it's easy money, why not do it? Makes no sense."

The former champion acknowledged Canelo's independence but stood firm on his opinion.

"I get Canelo, he's his own boss, he don't need Turki Alalshikh, that's obvious, but the biggest fight in boxing is Canelo Crawford."

Crawford currently holds the 154lb title and has been undisputed champion in two lower weight classes. Canelo reigns as a three-belt ruler at super-middleweight and has held titles both above and below that division.

Many in the sport warn the weight gap between Crawford and Canelo might be too big for Crawford to overcome. But Crawford remains adamant it's the only fight he wants to add to his legacy.

Canelo has put a pause on any further talks about the match-up until after he faces Edgar Berlanga on September 14.

While Bradley sees Crawford-Canelo as the biggest potential fight, other significant bouts are also in the works. Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol are set to clash for the undisputed light-heavyweight crown, a match-up fans have wanted for years.

Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois will battle for the IBF Heavyweight World Title at Wembley Stadium in September, with a record-breaking crowd expected. Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk have a rematch planned for December, with Fury looking to avenge his only professional loss.

There's also talk of a potential future clash between undefeated champions Gervonta Davis and Shakur Stevenson. Promoter Eddie Hearn has said that bout could be the best fight in the sport.
