Fantasy matchups like this get fans talking. Sometimes it's about active boxers looking for new challenges. Other times, it's about comparing fighters from different eras.
Briggs looked at how Tyson's power and aggression might match up against Fury's size, footwork, and ring smarts. He believes Tyson's style would win out.
"OK, so you got what 5"11 Mike Tyson against a 6'9, what is he, 6'8" Tyson Fury. I'm still going with Mike all the way. Hard to the body. I'm talking about the flesh on Fury's body looking nasty. Mike ripping all that. And even if he block him, the elbows, Mike breaking all that, overhand rights, he gonna get him."
Briggs sees Tyson's power as the key. He thinks Iron Mike would break down Fury's body, get through his defense, and land big overhand rights.
Both fighters have real matches coming up soon. Mike takes on the challenge of a man half his age when he faces Jake Paul in a pro bout this November.
Fury's got a big one too. He'll try to avenge his only pro loss when he rematches Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia this December. The Ring Magazine, WBA, WBC and WBO world titles will be on the line.
