Undefeated American Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs), a four-division conqueror, praised the professional skills of Uzbekistan's Israil Madrimov (10-1-1, 7 KOs), whom he defeated on points on August 3 at the fighter's night in Los Angeles.
"We knew we didn't have to look at his small number of fights in the pros. After all, he has about 300 fights in amateur boxing. Look at Vasyl Lomachenko. He fought for the title in his second pro fight. If there was one thing that surprised me about Madrimov, it was his patience. He was very patient in the ring," said Crawford at the press conference.
We will remind, that the victory over Madrimov brought Crawford the WBA title in the first middleweight.
