Former middleweight boxing world champion, 37-year-old American Daniel Jacobs (37-5, 30 KOs) has announced the end of his career.
"I am announcing the end of my career. I want to express my gratitude and appreciation for boxing, it has changed my life in ways I never imagined and instilled values in me that I wouldn't have learned otherwise. Boxing has made me the man I am today," Jacobs wrote on Instagram.
Recall that on July 7, Jacobs made an unsuccessful return to the ring after a 2.5-year layoff, losing by a crushing judges' decision to Shane Mosley Jr.
