Golovkin on returning to the ring: "All in good time."

"Life with boxing and life without boxing are definitely different things. I'm grateful to have a family that loves me. I've been able to shift my focus to them. So for me, leaving boxing was not such a big drama, strong worries. I just didn't have time. Didn't have time to realize and understand it.

Or I didn't have time to finally quit boxing, because I'm constantly training and I'm in good shape. The realization that I'm finished hasn't come all the way through yet.

To come back? Again, to loudly proclaim that..... Given my uncertainty about whether I'm done with boxing or not, I'll say this: everything has its time. I never wanted to talk a lot, shout a lot and PR. Perhaps it's because of our Eastern upbringing.

I will say that I feel very comfortable and happy now. I am healthy. Enjoying the time I have gotten. I'm doing very well," Golovkin said.

Gennady, 42, last stepped into the ring in October 2022, when he lost to Saul Alvarez by unanimous decision.
