Lopez has his sights set on a fight with Crawford

WBO bantamweight champion Teofimo Lopez has assured that he still wants to fight against one of the pound-for-pound leaders Terence Crawford.

"It seems like Crawford has slowed down. I'd like to fight him before he finishes his career. I'd like to get him before he really gets old. Crawford is slowing down. Look at his legs. I'm only 26 years old. I'm still a kid. He's 36. There's a 10-year difference between us. This guy I'm going to fight, Steve Claggett, he's 35 years old. He's a natural welterweight who's coming down to the bantamweight division.

I don't understand why Crawford's team doesn't want to make our fight. We're already great. We just want to see how much more greatness we can achieve. That's the main thing in boxing. The best fight the best," said Lopez.

Recall that on June 29, Lopez will hold a bout in the American Miami against Steve Claggett.
