Usyk's manager reacted to the boxer's decision to give up the IBF championship belt

Egis Klimas, manager of world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, commented on the decision of his client to give up the IBF championship belt. Earlier Dan Rafael, an insider and journalist, said that such a step was spelled out in the contract for a rematch with Fury. Egis denied the journalist's words.

"Rafael's words are not true. There was no clause in our contract about giving up the belt. Usyk did it because he wanted to," wrote Klimas.

Recall, the rematch of Usyk with Fury is scheduled for December 21.
