Froch gave his prediction for a potential Joshua vs. Fury fight

Former world champion Carl Froch believes Anthony Joshua will beat Tyson Fury if they fight anytime soon.

"I always thought Fury would beat Joshua. I thought he was too fast, too light on his feet, with good mobility, with a lot of natural talent. He has boxed from a younger age, he has ability and skill. Sense of distance, timing, head movement, feints - Fury does a lot of things correctly that can't be taught. When he gets close, he knits you up. But he wouldn't be able to be the aggressor with Joshua. Anthony is a two-time champion, an Olympic winner.

They both lost to Usyk, but out of 24 rounds, Joshua won some. Fury also lost to Usyk, but had a better fight with him. Alexander almost stopped him in the ninth round, but it was the same with Joshua. If you look at them now, A.J. is on a three or four-fight win streak. He's got that momentum, he's got that confidence back. Joshua is an athlete, he looks like a machine. He takes boxing very seriously.

Boxing is all about timing. Fury got drunk last week. But good fighters don't drink between fights. Now Anthony Joshua will probably knock out Tyson Fury, just based on where they are at in their careers. But what a great fight it is," Froch said.
