Former world boxing champion and member of the Hall of Fame Barry McGuigan expressed confidence that the rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, scheduled for December 21, will again end with the victory of the Ukrainian.
"Usyk is too good for him. Tyson was almost stopped. I don't think he'll do any better next time. Fury is a great fighter for the sport, he talks a lot, he has a big media presence. But I think his time as an athlete is gone.... Probably due to the fact that he never lived the life of an athlete. Although I can't be right, he's not like Usyk. Usyk was the overall heavyweight champion, he beat Joshua twice convincingly and then beat Fury. I just think that the next fight will be a copy of the first," said McGuigan in an interview with YouTube channel Pro Boxing Fans.
Recall, May 18, Usyk defeated Fury by split decision of judges and became the first since 1999 absolute world champion in the heavyweight division.
