British veteran UFC welterweight Michael Page has stated that if he wins over Ian Harry, he would like to fight former champion Kamaru Usman before the end of the year.
"If I decide to come back for the tournament in the UK, I'll probably have one more fight to do. Usually the UFC has a tournament there in March. So the idea of doing another fight before the end of the year sounds great. I'll finish Ian first and then maybe face Usman. He's the number one ranked welterweight. There's no point in wasting time. If he agrees to do it, it'll be glorious. I will defeat him and no one will have any questions about my status as the top contender for the UFC belt," MMA Mania quoted Page as saying.
Page is expected to face Harry on July 27 at UFC 304 in Manchester, UK.
