"Islam is too cautious a fighter to let himself get caught up in a fight with a guy like Dustin Porier. Dustin is a great fighter, but it's a tough fight for anyone and I don't see anyone beating Islam in the foreseeable future. Islam won't go into a split decision if he feels threatened. He will make sure the fight is not in the center of the octagon. The only opponent who knocked out Makhachev was a lefty, but I don't think he'll take too much risk in the standup because Dustin has great hands and great punches. Islam is so good that I foresee an early win by submission, more like a choke. The question is whether he will do it at the beginning of the fight or in the final rounds".
Recall, the Makhachev-Porier fight will headline UFC 302, which will take place June 1 in Newark.
