Former interim UFC lightweight champion Dustin Porier has once again admitted that he may hang up his gloves after his fight with full titleholder Islam Makhachev.
The American and the Dagestani will meet in the main event of UFC 303, which takes place on June 1 in Newark, USA.
"I'm not going to climb the career ladder again as I've been in this business for a long time. It's a very selfish sport. I'm ready to be a father and husband, be at home and do the routine. I wouldn't say I can't fight for the title again.
But for me, this fight could be my last. I want to be satisfied with my career. It's something I have to digest and accept it if I lose. I'm trying to look on the bright side and make sure I become the overall lightweight champion after my 31st fight in the UFC. That would be the story," Yahoo Sports quoted Puryear as saying.
