Former WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua explained why he considers the current holder of these belts Oleksandr Usyk as a favorite for the upcoming fight with WBC title holder Tyson Fury.
The fight between the Ukrainian and the Briton will take place today, May 18, in the main event of Boxing Night in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
"I fought Usyk, so I can only speak about what I saw in him. Phenomenal fighter, does everything properly. I would say he does a really good job in the ring.
I've never fought Fury, so I can't judge how he'll do during the fight, or what it's like to face him. Based only on what I know, I have to say Usyk will win," talkSPORT quoted Joshua as saying.
