Karlos Balderas, a former 2016 U.S. Olympian and lightweight contender, has signed an exclusive promotional contract with 360 Promotions. The Santa Maria native is gearing up for an upcoming fight on June 7 at the Chumash Casino Resort in California. Tom Loeffler of 360 Promotions expressed his excitement about adding Balderas to their roster.
Balderas, who holds a record of 14 wins and 12 knockouts, expressed satisfaction with his new contract. He stated, "Tom has been great during the negotiations. We’ve had a chance to share our vision for my career, and I feel like this is the right direction for me to reach my goal of becoming a world champion." He is set to face Gilberto Espinoza Zarate in an eight-round match on June 7.
Tom Loeffler praised Karlos Balderas's capabilities both as an amateur and professional boxer. Balderas's upcoming bout represents his return to Southern California after four years.
The main event on June 7 will feature fighters Callum Walsh and Carlos Ortiz in a ten-round headline fight. Joining them will be Balderas against Mexico's Gilberto Espinoza Zarate, who has attained a record of 13 wins with eight by knockout.
