Warren commented on Garcia's win over Haney

Renowned British promoter Frank Warren discussed Ryan Garcia winning a fight against WBC bantamweight champion Devin Haney.

"When I was asked about this fight, at the time I wasn't sure what was going to happen in it. I was asked who I favored and I said Garcia. That was without taking into account all the problems he was facing. Then those problems made me change my mind. But once the weigh-in took place and Garcia got the weight advantage, I thought the odds shifted in his favor.

Ryan boxed well, did a great job. I re-watched the fight a couple times and he didn't throw a lot of jabs. He just worked more powerfully and better. I think the weight helped him do that," Warren said in an interview with YouTube channel BoxNation.

Recall that on April 20, Garcia defeated Haney by majority decision, knocking him down three times.
