Sulaiman expressed public enthusiasm for another potential matchup—Tyson Fury versus Anthony Joshua. He noted, "Everybody has been wanting to see Fury-Joshua for a long time, and Joshua has looked tremendous." These remarks pointed to a possible all-British showdown later this year at Wembley, given Joshua's recent impressive performances against Otto Wallin and Francis Ngannou.

The Fury-Usyk fight faced previous delays due to Fury's injury during sparring but is now on track with an agreed rematch clause for a subsequent bout. Regarding this decision, Sulaiman stated, "The WBC received a petition which was voted by the board, accepted the unification fight and a rematch, so that’s what we have ruled."

In addition to these dynamic matchups, the Ukrainian conflict continues to shadow events. Boxers like Serhii Bohachuk and Oleksandr Gvozdyk remain active contenders amid regional strife. Usyk's potential win could significantly uplift Ukrainian spirits during ongoing national challenges.
