UFC featherweight champion Elijah Topuria shared his thoughts on a potential bout with former titleholder Max Holloway.
On April 13 at the UFC 300 show in Las Vegas, USA, Holloway knocked out Justin Gaethje and claimed the symbolic BMF belt.
"I'm even glad Holloway got the victory. When I beat him, I'll have another belt. There will be two belts instead of one. I don't know what kind of damage he took. I hope he can come back soon. A knockout win? No big deal. In the end, he and Gaethje just traded punches with no strategy. No defense, hands down. He got him, but that's not gonna happen to me.
Max talks a lot - he believes there's no one better than him. But I did to Volkanovski in nine minutes what Max couldn't do in 90 minutes. Let him enjoy the moment. For me, the fight with him will be easy," - quotes Topuria ESPN.
