UFC featherweight champion Elijah Topuria has confirmed that he will make the first defense of his title against former division leader Max Holloway.
On April 14 at UFC 300 in Las Vegas, USA, Holloway made a foray into the lightweight division by brutally knocking out Justin Gaethje in the final seconds of a five-round fight. The win earned the American the symbolic BMF ("Most Badass Bastard") title.
"Everything is clear for me. My next fight will be against Max Holloway. Congratulations to him and enjoy tonight. But after the fight with me, he will have a long time to get back in line," Topuria said in the mixtape.
Recall that Topuria became champion in February, defeating Alexander Volkanovski by knockout.
