With the warm support of the tribunes in the main event of the boxing evening in Belfast, Great Britain, former three-time world champion Carl Frampton (24-1, 14 KOs) scored a difficult victory by unanimous decision over Horatio Garcia (33-4-1, 24 KOs), successfully returning in the ring after the defeat this January from the hands of Leo Santa Cruz. The score of the English judges' were: 98-93, 97-93 and 96-93.

Tete knocked out Gonya in 11 seconds

WBO bantamweight champion Zolani Tete (26-3, 21 KOs) made a record quick knockout over Siboniso Gonya (11-2, 5 KOs), stopping him in 11 seconds of the first round. Tete was able to knock out Gonya with his first thrown out blow, a whooping right hook, which fell exactly in the Gonya’s jaw, and from which he fell in a deep knockout. Gonya remained unconscious on the floor for a few minutes, but, fortunately, came to his senses.
