WBO bantamweight champion Zolani Tete (26-3, 21 KOs) made a record quick knockout over Siboniso Gonya (11-2, 5 KOs), stopping him in 11 seconds of the first round. Tete was able to knock out Gonya with his first thrown out blow, a whooping right hook, which fell exactly in the Gonya’s jaw, and from which he fell in a deep knockout. Gonya remained unconscious on the floor for a few minutes, but, fortunately, came to his senses.

After the fight, Tete and his promoter Frank Warren announced that they will seek a unification meeting with IBF, WBA champion Ryan Burnett.
