Cherkashyn with another TKO victory

On June 2 in Rzeszow, Poland, Ukrainian middleweight Fedir Cherkashyn (10-0, 7 KOs) scored another TKO victory in the second round over Ayoub Nefzi (26-11-2, 5 KOs) from Tunisia, who live in Belgium. At the end of the first round, Cherkashyn was able to send his opponent to the canvas with a body punch. Nefzi  was saved by the bell, but he did not recover during a break and the first hits of the Ukrainian to the body forced Nefzi to kneel way to the end of the referee count.

Povetkin says he plans to fight Joshua in England in the fall

The fight between Alexander Povetkin and Anthony Joshua may happen in England this fall, Povetkin says. Povetkin is the official contender for the WBA title, which is owned by Joshua. The WBA sanctioned a fight between them and gave the teams 30 days to negotiate. However, Joshua himself said that he intended to fight against Deontey Wilder.
