Lomachenko undergoes surgery (photo)

WBA lightweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko successfully underwent surgery on his right shoulder, injured in the fight with Jorge Linares.

"Operation was successful. Thank you all for the messages and comments. I have the best fans in the world," wrote Lomachenko in his Instagram.

It is expected that the 30-year-old Ukrainian will return to training in October and his next fight will be on December 8.
