Makhachev plans to attend UFC 296

UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev shared his expectations for the UFC 296 tournament, which will take place on December 16 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The main event of the upcoming event will be the title fight in the welterweight division between Leon Edwards And Colby Covington.

“Will all attention be focused on the main fight? I won't lie, this is the fight I want to watch. Tomorrow I’m flying to the USA, I’ll meet with the UFC management, I’ll attend the tournament on December 16th and I have other things to do. Tagir Ulanbekov will still fight on the card, I’ll be in his corner,” said Makhachev while talking with journalists at the IBA Night of Champions tournament in Dubai.
