Alex Volkanovski, UFC featherweight champion, explained why he decided to rematch with Islam Makhachev on short notice.
“It seemed to me that my victory was a foregone conclusion. I thought I was destined to succeed. And immediately after the fight I thought it was a dumb decision. These emotions broke me a little...,” the fighter said.
Let us remember that in the rematch, Volkanovski lost to Makhachev by knockout in the first round.
