Mentor of former world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder Malik Scott admitted that he holds the WBC belt in the second middle division David Benavidez reminds him of heavyweight legend George Foreman.
“Benavidez, believe it or not, reminds me a lot of George Foreman. Not in terms of sequence, combinations or speed, but in terms of mentality, imposing your will, control of your hands and head.
Benavidez is a nightmare because he comes at you and dominates you. He comes at you at lightning speed, and then you think you can hit back because his legs are in a bad position or because he's running at you. But he moves his head so much that not only does he make you miss, but he’s also willing to hit you back with a multi-punch combination,” Scott said in an interview with Fight Hype.
Let us remind you that on November 25, Benavidez won ahead of schedule against Demetrius Andrade.
