Tsarukyan became interested in UFC thanks to Khabib

Arman Tsarukyan, the UFC's top lightweight, announced that the promotion's former lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov for many years he became a role model for him and pushed him to connect his life with MMA.

“It was Khabib Nurmagomedov. I got into the UFC because of him. I watched videos of his fights and wanted to become a fighter. All this time he has been a role model for me. Khabib is a symbol of hope for people like me,” Tsarukyan said.
