Fury's mentor commented on the talk that Tyson was in decline

SugarHill Steward, trainer of the WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, doesn’t think it’s a lackluster fight against Francis Ngannou indicates that the British boxer is past his prime.

“The only thing I took away from the fight against Ngannou was that Fury will now fight on February 17th with Usyk. Tyson won the fight with Ngannou, and will now fight with Alexander Usik.

Do I think Fury is in decline, as some people believe? I don’t know, I haven’t heard that. Nobody thought that way in his previous fights since I started training Tyson. So I'm very confident in Tyson Fury's preparation. Tyson is just being himself and doing his thing as he always does,” Steward said in an interview with the Boxing News YouTube channel.

Let us remember that on October 28, Fury defeated Ngannou by split decision (96-93, 95-94, 94-95) in the main event of the boxing evening in Riyadh.
