Navarrete-Conceicao is rated as a draw by the judges

Emanuel Navarrete (38-1-1, 31 KOs) tied the fight with Robson Conceicao (17-2-1, 8 KOs) at a boxing evening in Las Vegas. The Mexican thus retained his WBO world title in the second featherweight division.

The fight took place at a very fast pace. Navarrete threw a lot of punches, attacked and tried to put his opponent down. The Brazilian boxed as number two, using his speed and technique.

The beginning definitely remained with Conceicao, but later Navarrete began to break through the opponent’s defense more and more successfully. The Brazilian was on the floor in the fourth and seventh rounds. As a result, after twelve intense rounds, the judges recorded a draw: 113-113, 113-113 and 114-112 in favor of Navarrete.
