Sonnen explains Aspinall's victory over Pavlovich

Former mixed martial arts fighter, now commentator and analyst Chael Sonnen expressed the opinion that Tom Aspinall managed to win Sergei Pavlovich thanks to the fact that he was not afraid of the striking power of the Russian, but went on the attack himself.

Let us remember that on November 12 at UFC 295, Aspinall knocked out Pavlovich in the first round and became the interim heavyweight champion of the promotion.

“We all thought that Aspinall would definitely not exchange with Pavlovich in the center of the octagon. But Tom went out and did it - and roasted Pavlovich. This was extremely unexpected.

Advice to all young fighters: the best defense is an attack. Tom became the first who did not defend himself against the power of Pavlovich. I don't know which one has the stronger punch because Sergey didn't get Aspinall. Pavlovich had to defend himself. So the best defense is an attack,” Sonnen said in the latest episode of his YouTube channel.
