“We have unfinished business.” Blachowicz aims for rematch with Pereira

Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jan Blachowicz stated his desire to have a second fight with the newly-minted “king” of the division Alex Pereira, to whom he lost a split decision in July.

On November 12 at UFC 295, Pereira won by TKO in the second round Jiri Prochazku.

“It’s light heavyweight and the split decision means we have unfinished business. I'm just saying what I feel. Don't blame me for this. I'm just letting you know about it. I return to the hall. I have a new opponent and a job to do.

I see that I need to explain myself. People always see me as a nice guy. But sometimes I get angry, like everything else in life. I'm still very angry that my victory over Pereira was stolen from me. Now he's challenging Adesanya again. Let him leave it at that. You’ve fought four times already!” — Blachowicz wrote on his page in X.

It is worth adding that on January 20, at the UFC 297 show, the Pole will have to share the octagon with Aleksandar Rakic. The fighters have previously met in the Octagon - in May last year, the Austrian Serb capitulated due to a knee injury.
