Tom Aspinall, the newly crowned interim UFC heavyweight champion, commented on his victory over Sergei Pavlovich.
āI canāt put it into words. It's been a crazy two and a half weeks. Oh my god, I just want to tell everyone that if you have a chance to do something but you're afraid, you should damn well do it anyway because maybe it will pay off. Pavlovich is a big and scary guy. I have never been so afraid as I was before this fight. But I hit hard too, and I really believe in myself, I've worked hard for years, and my dad worked even harder with me, so I give this belt to my dad. Honestly, it was hard for me to find the distance, I knew that he had long arms, but in the end everything worked out, I managed it,ā said the fighter.
Let us remember that Aspinall needed just over a minute to knock out Pavlovich and become the interim champion.
