UFC middleweight Khamzat Chimaev spoke about a possible fight with Paulo Costoi.
“I’ll fight for the belt now, if they tell me to defend the title against him, of course, I’ll fight. But it is unlikely that he will be given this chance; he has already walked away from battle five times. I don’t know what will happen to him next,” Chimaev said.
It is worth noting that Chimaev’s desire to fight for the belt is not yet part of the UFC’s plans, because the promotion recently announced a fight between middleweight champion Sean Strickland and Dricus Du Plessis. This fight will take place in January next year.
