The coach of the Ukrainian national team revealed why he interrupted communication with Lomachenko Sr.

The head coach of the Ukrainian boxing team, Dmitry Sosnovsky, told the details of the conflict with the father of the ex-world champion in three divisions Vasily Lomachenko Anatoly after the Olympic Games in 2012.

“There was tension between us, and in the team in general, when the prize money was distributed after the Olympics. They wanted to give prize money to some boxers, but not to others. I believed that the team works and everything needs to be shared between the team. They believed that they should give it to whoever they wanted. Therefore, we had a conflict and we stopped communicating,” Sosnovsky said in an interview with Tyke Mayson.
