Henry Cejudo, a former two-division UFC champion, shared his opinion on the upcoming fight between Sergei Pavlovich and Tom Aspinall. In particular, Cejudo stated that the interim champion belt should not be at stake in this fight.
“It’s an exciting fight, but is it worth the interim title? No, it's not worth it. I think we're starting to blur a little bit what it means to be a UFC champion. I think this is more of a fight for the title of number one contender – that’s what it should be called...” Henry said.
Let us remind you that the Pavlovich-Aspinal fight will headline UFC 295, which will take place on November 11 in New York.
