“I think Islam would like to fight Gaethje. The UFC prefers to bet on who brings in the most money rather than who actually deserves the fight. So I think that in the end the one who brings in the most money will fight with Islam. That fighter could be Gaethje because they haven’t fought yet,” Mendes said in an interview with Unlocking The Cage.
