After Jon Jones withdrew from the fight against Stipe Miocic, he refused to fight with Sergei Pavlovich, who was insuring the fight. Tom Aspinall reported.
“Anyway, four o’clock in the morning UK time, the phone rings again, it’s UFC management again. And they were like, “Listen, Jon Jones hurt his shoulder, he’s out for a year. Stipe only wants to fight Jones. You and Pavlovich for the interim title.” I’m like, “I’m for it.”
Let us remind you that the fight between Jones and Miocic was supposed to take place on November 11 and headline UFC 295. However, “Bones” was injured and withdrew from the fight. The 295th event will be headlined by a fight between Sergei Pavlovich and Tom Aspinall, with the interim heavyweight title at stake.
