Frank Warren, promoter of the WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, shared his thoughts on colleague Eddie Hearn’s desire to organize a fight between Anthony Joshua And Filip Hrgovic.
“The Joshua-Wilder fight will not take place because expectations regarding the size of the fees for their fight in Saudi Arabia were not met. That's how it was. Joshua vs Hrgovic is a great fight. I don't think it will happen, but it's a great fight.
Is it likely that the winner of the Fury-Usyk fight will vacate the IBF title? Let's see what happens. Let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves,” Warren said in an interview with the Pro Boxing Fans YouTube channel.
Let's remember that Hearn previously said that Joshua and Hrgovic could fight for the vacant IBF title if Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk agree on an immediate rematch after their unification.
