Romero suggested why Adesanya unexpectedly lost to Strickland

Star Cuban Mixed Martial Arts Veteran Yoel Romero shared his thoughts on the sensational defeat Israel Adesanya in a duel with Sean Strickland.

“When you fight and take damage, like in the Adesanya-Pereira fight, then you have a little problem. So I think Izzy faced this. He was just a little scared,” Romero was quoted as saying by MMA News.

Let us remind you that on September 10 at the UFC 293 tournament, Strickland defeated Adesanya by unanimous decision and captured the middleweight title.
