Makhachev replied to Oliveira: “I always fought where they offered me.”

Islam Makhachev, UFC lightweight champion, responded to his next opponent Charles Oliveira, who repeatedly hinted that their rematch would take place under unequal conditions, because it would take place in the United Arab Emirates.

“Charles, I asked for a fight in the USA in the summer, but the UFC had other plans. I'm a UFC fighter just like you. I never set UFC conditions and fought where they offered me. My last fight took place in Australia in the challenger's backyard. So everything you say makes no sense,” Makhachev said.

Let us remind you that Makhachev’s rematch with Oliveira will take place on October 21 in Abu Dhabi.
