Froch named the only top heavyweight who will agree to fight Zhilei

Former world champion Carl Froch believes that among all the heavyweight leaders only Deontay Wilder may agree to a fight against the interim WBO title holder Zhang Zhilei.

“We have Fury and Usyk, between whom you can share first and second place. We also have Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua. I don't think any of these four would actually want to voluntarily jump out against Zhilei.

It seems to me that of the four, Deontay Wilder will like the fight against Zhang. If we talk about the fact that at some stage this fight will take place in China, then 200 million people will watch it there. Zhilei is a national hero in China. You can imagine all these people watching the fight and supporting it.

I think Deontay Wilder is brave enough and a good fighter to take on this challenge and go into the ring thinking he can win. He's an explosive puncher. Wilder will be confident that he can knock out Zhilei, so he will probably agree to this fight,” Froch said on his YouTube channel.
