Fury reacts to Zhilei's crushing victory in rematch with Joyce

The eminent British trainer Peter Fury commented on the early victory of the interim WBO heavyweight champion Zhang Zhilei in a rematch with Joe Joyce.

“The strongest in the person of Zhilei undeniably won for the second time. Big Joe, such as he is, should be given maximum credit for getting back into the ring. We need to see more of these types of fights in boxing,” Fury wrote on his X page.

Let us remind you that on September 23, in the main event of the boxing evening in London, Zhilei knocked out Joyce in the third round. With this victory, the Chinese retained his status as a mandatory challenger for unified champion Alexander Usik.
