Gamrot commented on the victory over Fiziev

Mateusz Gamroth, UFC lightweight, commented on his victory in the fight with Rafael Fiziev.

“Of course this is not the finish of the fight that I wanted. An unpleasant ending, but to be honest, during the preparation for this fight I expected that my defense would be stronger than his kicks. I knew he was going to kick a lot. I honed my defense against these strikes. Unpleasant situation. Unpleasant incident. I wish Rafael a speedy recovery because I like him and we have a good relationship. Still, victory is victory...” said Gamrot.

Let us remind you that Gamrot beat Fiziev by TKO in the second round. Rafael injured his leg and was unable to continue the fight.
