41-year-old Woodley unexpectedly spoke about returning to the UFC

Former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley suddenly announced that he was thinking about a comeback in the promotion.

“I’m willing to do this just for one dude. I really want to beat the crap out of Adesanya. Why? Because I don't like him. Typical idle talker. I think it's time for me to return the favor. Once upon a time, when he was just starting out, I was asked which prospect to watch closely. And I said his name.

To be the best, you have to fight the best. I want to fight those at the top. He’s at the top, so I want to fight him,” Woodley said on Quinton Jackson’s podcast.

Let us remember that Woodley left the UFC in March 2021 after four defeats in a row. Later that year, the American lost twice to influencer Jake Paul in boxing fights.
