Former UFC champion Valentina Shevchenko reported that after surgery on her hand, she will be able to begin full-contact training no earlier than in three to four months.

Let us remind you that last weekend Shevchenko drew her fight withĀ Alexa Grasso — the title remained with the Mexican. In the first round, the representative of Kyrgyzstan received a splintered fracture of her finger.

ā€œThe doctors said it would take me three to four months to heal the injury and return to full training. And then it will take me a few more months to return to the championship level. I think the trilogy with Grasso will dot all the i’s. People want to see this fight,ā€ Shevchenko said in anĀ interview with ESPN MMA.

Valentina also added that she would not mind if Grasso did not wait for her, but held a defense against another contender.
