UFC head Dana White announced that the fight Jiri Prochazki And Alexa Pereira for the vacant light heavyweight belt will take place on November 11 at the UFC 295 tournament in New York, USA.

The Czech and the Brazilian will fight for the title, which was vacated in July by then-champion Jamal Hill, who tore his Achilles tendon during a basketball match.

Like Hill, Prochaska was a division champion who did not lose his belt in the bout. After defeating Glover Teixeira in June last year, Jiri was unable to make his first defense due to a neck injury - the Czech then decided not to slow down the division and withdrew his championship credentials.

Pereira is a former UFC middleweight champion who hopes to become a title holder in the second weight class. After losing to Israel Adesanya in the April rematch, the Brazilian moved up to light heavyweight. He kicked off his new division with a split decision win over former champion Jan Blachowicz at UFC 291 in July.
