Burns is eager for a rematch with Muhammad

Former UFC welterweight title challenger Gilbert Burns stated that he really wants to get even with Belal Muhammad for the May defeat.

“I want a rematch. I still believe I can beat Belal. Last time what happened happened, but it wasn’t my fault - I took the fight on short notice. I was close to getting another title shot, I risked everything.

I don’t regret anything, because if I won, I would definitely get a fight with the champion. A bad result does not mean it was a wrong decision,” MMA Mania quotes Burns.

Let us remember that on May 7 at the UFC 288 tournament, Burns lost to Muhammad by unanimous decision.
